‘Tis the season, once again, that we’ve been waiting for all year – SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration. This incredible holiday event returns this month to a SeaWorld near you, better and merrier than ever!
Join us this season for heartwarming, holiday fun that could only come from SeaWorld. There’s much to be jolly about at our Orlando and San Diego parks, with some amazing, all-new experiences and returning seasonal favorites, back by popular demand. Let’s take a look at the magical merriment you can expect at each location:
SeaWorld San Diego
SeaWorld San Diego is the place to be for the holidays. Introducing the all-new SnowWorld, a winter wonderland of snowmen, snowballs and family fun at SeaWorld’s Arctic Plaza. This area will feature more than 6,500 squarefeet of fresh snow each day. Guests can also enjoy impromptu visits with SeaWorld’s arctic foxes, adding to the wintery atmosphere. Another addition this year, Mrs. Claus will join the festivities at Santa’s Cottage, located ata magical Christmas wonderland on the lawn near Seaport Marketplace. The area will feature fun pathway characters, a cookie decorating station, photo opportunities with Santa, and real, live reindeer.
Returning to the event is THE POLAR EXPRESS 4-D Experience, and a variety of festive, phenomenal entertainment: “Clyde & Seamore’s Night Before Christmas”, “Christmas Tails”, and “Shamu’s Christmas”. Holiday-themed eats and decorations will be present throughout the Christmas Celebration, including Southern California’s largest Christmas tree, sure to immerse guests in the holiday spirit as they stroll through the park.
SeaWorld San Diego’s Christmas Celebration takes place: Nov. 19–20; Nov. 25–27; Dec. 3–4; Dec. 10–11; Dec. 17–31; and Jan. 1.
SeaWorld Orlando
Waves of holiday spirit splash over the park during SeaWorld Orlando’s Christmas Celebration. An all-new show holiday show joins the festive fun this year: “O Wondrous Night – The Greatest Story Never Told”. Everyone will be entertained by this touching, light-hearted celebration featuring a host of angels, menagerie of animals, and the true glory of Christmas. Told through the eyes of animals that were there, the greatest story never told includes more than 30 carols, based upon The Christmas Story.
The awe-inspiring Sea of Trees has been expanded to include 100 towering, twinkling trees, making a dramatic display to classical holiday tunes around SeaWorld’s center lake.
Families and friends can once again enjoy the spirit of Christmas during SeaWorld’s memorable, holiday-themed shows: “A Sesame Street Christmas”, “Winter Wonderland on Ice”, “Clyde and Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas”, “Shamu Christmas…Miracles” and “Holiday Reflections: Fireworks and Fountains Finale”. THE POLAR EXPRESS Experience and the festive, bustling Christmas Market return, too, for the best in holiday enjoyment.
SeaWorld Orlando’s Christmas Celebration takes place Nov. 25-27, Dec. 2-4, Dec. 9-11, and nightly Dec. 16-31.
