SeaWorld Orlando’s all-new show “O Wondrous Night – The Greatest Story Never Told “ is based off of the Christmas Story, but with a twist: it’s told through the eyes of the animals that were there -- a donkey, a few sheep, a camel, and more. Parts of O Wondrous Night’s appeal are the lovable characters, and how they each feel they had the most significant role in how the Christmas Story unfolded.
One of the show’s main characters is the donkey, who is the most comical of the show’s animals. As guests discover during the performance, the donkey claims to have done the most important job for the Christmas Story -- allowing Mary to ride on his back on the infamous journey to Bethlehem after their cart broke.
The other animals think that THEY had the most important role, which they all come to an agreement about during the performance.
