We know it’s Wednesday, time to start thinking about what you want to do this weekend, right? Well, think no more! SeaWorldOrlando's Halloween Spooktacular-- Central Florida's best family-friendly event -- kicks off this weekend on Saturday. This underwater "fantasea" runs from 12-8 p.m. and takes place every weekend in October: 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, and 28-30. In addition to the trick-or-treat sweets, silly and spooky shows, and whimsical sea creature encounters, there are three new, can't-miss elements this year!
Penelope's Party Zone
Located at SeaWorld's Bayside Stage, the "PPZ" comes to life through kid-friendly Halloween music and games broadcast by a live DJ. This lively underwater environment will be stocked with coloring easels, hula-hoops, and other activities sure to entertain the whole family. Prepare to be immersed in the wonders of the sea as countless bubbles float overhead and colorful pumpkin fish glide beside you at the Halloween party of the year!
Apple Decorating Post
Kids and parents alike can have a "splash" creating their own candied apples. At this special station decked out with Spooktacular loot, choose from a variety of dipping sauces like caramel, fudge, and white chocolate, and toppings that include candy corn, marshmallows, sprinkles, and more. One question remains: which mouth-watering sweets will you choose?
Sea-Themed Sand Art
Children (and adults, too) can create a multi-colored sand souvenir at this interactive arts-and-crafts area. Fill a sea-themed glass bottle -- shaped like starfish, dolphins, turtles, and other fun shapes -- with an array of vibrantly colored sands. Don't forget to display it at home for all your family and friends to see!
