Now that the summer is over, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the changes made to one of our most popular exhibits, Dolphin Point. SeaWorld San Diego guests may have noticed some big changes at our park over this last summer. If you haven’t been in the park for some time, now is a great time to visit to see what’s new! SeaWorld fans may remember visiting one of our popular exhibits Rocky Point Preserve in the past. However, you may find that it is no longer on the map! No, our famous dolphin exhibit didn’t disappear; it simple got a new name change to Dolphin Point. However, this exhibit is more than just a name change…

Gone are the days of purchasing a tray of fish to feed our dolphins. Instead, we have found different ways to provide more opportunities for our guests to connect with dolphins. A great time to visit Dolphin Point is during “Dolphin Connections” where guests will have the opportunity to make a meaningful connection with a dolphin by touching, feeding, or even give out a hand signal that’s linked to one of their spectacular behaviors!
Not only are guests able to connect with a dolphin, but they will also find we have enhanced the area to provide more opportunities for our Education staff to share SeaWorld’s dolphin story. Come celebrate with us in the changes of our new exhibit as we provide more ways to connect with dolphins and learn how we can care for them in the natural world!
