Conservation Never Got So Fun
Pole to Pole is a unique store that not only offers a variety of North and South Pole-themed merchandise, but also offers a multitude of kid-friendly activities including crafts, animal meet and greets, storytelling and other activities. Kids can also learn more about polar concerns and conservation through interactive LED screens placed around the store and with SeaWorld educators who conduct the special activities, answer questions and highlight tours that guests can take to learn more about wildlife conservation.
Touching Allowed!
Young children love to touch and we encourage kids of all ages to come touch and explore at the California Tide Pool. Here they can reach into the chilly water to examine prickly sea urchins, feel velvety algae and see some amazing sea stars.
Kids Just Wanna Get Wet
Sesame Street Bay of Play is a two-acre play area that includes plenty of water features sure to keep your little ones in an eternal soak zone. The area also offers three family-friendly rides (Abby’s Sea Star Spin, Elmo’s Flying Fish and Oscar’s Rocking Eel), Sesame Street character meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, impromptu Sesame Street character performances and interactive play elements, including net crawls, climbing tunnels, an air bounce and more.
Treats for your Sweets
Check out our latest eatery Sweet Tides. Located near the Seaside Coffee & Bakery at the front of the park, kids and families can choose from dozens of toppings and build their own funnel cake or sundae.
Come Twist and Shout with Shamu and friends:
Kids can get their dance thing on with a variety of costumed SeaWorld characters at the park’s new “Summer Nights Block Party.” Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. from June 18 to Aug. 15, kids and their families can enjoy this 45-minute party that includes a live DJ and host who leads the kids and characters in activities and dances inside the park’s front plaza area.
