Foodie Friday: Vegetarian Chili with Bread Bowl

With summer's end upon us, we decided to feature a heartier dish from SeaWorld's Spice Mill restaurant. This meatless chili is a cinch to prepare at home; perfect for our vegetarian readers or for those of you looking for a new spin on a down-home classic. Also, with cooler weather on the horizon and the holiday seasons approaching, it's the ideal time to come enjoy this delicious dish waterfront-style at SeaWorld Orlando!

Ingredients:

1 can black beans, drained

1 can garbanzo beans, drained

1 can kidney beans, drained

1 can navy beans, drained

1 cup diced carrots

1/4 cup diced onion

1/4 cup diced celery

1/4 cup diced green bell pepper

1 can corn kernels

1 small (4 oz.) can diced tomatoes

1 small (4 oz.) can tomato sauce

1/16 cup minced garlic

1/4 cup chili powder

1/16 tablespoon tabasco sauce

1/16 pound cornstarch

1/8 ounce cumin

2 cups water

Directions:

1. Combine all, and heat on low for 1 hour.

2. Serve in hollowed-out bread bowl.

3. Enjoy!
