Foodie Friday: Baked Artichoke Spread

It’s that time of year when we hear that familiar phrase, “We have plenty of burgers and dogs. You bring a side.” What is more tempting and delicious than a baked artichoke spread – an appetizer that never goes out of style.

Baked artichoke spread is a quick and healthy recipe that can be made in minutes with easily stored and common ingredients.

Ingredients:
One 14 ounce cans artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
One cup of grated parmesan cheese
One cup mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Tabasco sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients and put into a greased casserole dish.
2. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
3. Makes about 3 to 4 cups
4. Serve with your favorite cracker, chip and or bread slices
