Chat with Chef: The Dock House Baja Grill

I’m sure I’m not the only one who loves layers and texture in their food – which is why I’m super excited for SeaWorld San Diego’s latest addition to its culinary line up: The Dock House Baja Grill, located near Manta!

I don’t even know where to begin to sing my praises for another one of Chef’s delicious ideas.

The concept is simple: you can choose between tacos, nachos, a burrito or a salad. No matter your pick, all the ingredients will be there, sans the most important part – the chicken.

So, where do you get it, then?

Well, once you’ve placed your order, you walk a little to your left where, lo and behold, your senses are embraced by the tantalizing sizzling of juicy citrus chili chicken broiling over open flames.

Umm, yum?!?!

Once the chicken is done cooking, it’s chopped and topped off with crema on your dish of choice. It’s that easy!

Chef is big on showing guests how their food is prepared, which inspired the idea behind this concept. Having the grill right in front of you lets you know your food is prepared right when you order it. To sum it all up, it’s fresh – as with all of our food here at SeaWorld San Diego, which we take great pride in.

By the way, have I mentioned the layers already? Bite after bite brings you to an experience that’s both new and familiar at the same time. Why new? The menu options at The Dock House are the first ever at the park. Why familiar? The flavors of the ingredients combined remind you that you are experience something new, that’s why! (Talk about a “mind-ception”.)

I’m also a big fan of the “grab and go” idea, especially when I’ve a show to catch. The Dock House’s food options allow just that, which means that if I were planning on watching, let’s say, One Ocean, I could get my food here, make my way to the stadium and still be able to enjoy both the show and the food.
