Animal Adaptations I Wish I Had

Most marine animals are able to live in and out of water because of their adaptations. Those are all the things that have changed over time to help them survive. It would be really cool if I had some of their adaptations too. Being able to swim fast, breathe under water and even hide would be awesome.

Sharks, Cleaner Fish and More at Explorer’s Reef

When I first got to SeaWorld San Diego, I thought I dived under a wave. Explorer’s Reef was the first thing I saw and it was really cool. I wanted to stay there all day. The touch pools have neat animals like crabs, rays, cleaner fish and even friendly sharks.

Update: Oyster “Welcome” Mat

SeaWorld Orlando team members spent a hot July day with The Nature Conservancy at Mosquito River Lagoon in Merritt Island, Florida. They worked hard to create a quilt of oyster mats in knee deep water designed to re-establish damaged oyster beds.

The World is Our Oyster

Last Friday, SeaWorld Orlando employees took part in a unique conservation-related project to help restore dead oyster reefs in the Indian River Lagoon in Central Florida.

Volunteers helped make oyster shell mats that will eventually be distributed into the Mosquito Lagoon.
