It was a popular week at SeaWorld Orlando for some big league athletes, and our animals were excited!

You may remember that just a few weeks ago our SeaWorld animal care team received a 100-pound loggerhead turtle that swallowed a 4 inch-long fishing hook. The animal arrived at SeaWorld Orlando February 26 and immediately underwent surgery following x-rays and blood work procedures. Our vet removed the hook, and after a speedy recovery, we released the turtle home this morning just south of Cocoa Beach, FL.

The SeaWorld Orlando Community Relations department along with SeaWorld Orlando’s character team recently visited Nemours Clinic in Orlando, Fla. to share lots of smiles, hugs and hive fives with hospitalized children and their families.

This is the last weekend of Bands, Brew & BBQ at SeaWorld Orlando, and they say we've saved the best for last! Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to slide to the beat while enjoying this amazing festival.

A large part of what makes “Just For Kids” such a successful event are the incredible concerts, which feature the top kid-favorite entertainers like the Doodlebops and Choo-Choo Soul. The performances are included with park admission, but require a separate concert ticket which can be obtained upon arrival at SeaWorld Orlando.
