I can’t believe it is craft time already, but here we are. It’s no doubt you’ve seen some of our amazing blog posts about the upcoming and highly-anticipated opening of Aquatica SeaWorld’s Waterpark here in sunny San Diego. Since I’m looking forward to Aquatica almost more than anyone else I know, I thought this month’s craft should be dedicated to one of the animals that will be featured there… CARIBBEAN FLAMINGOS! And because I fully believe in making a mess, this one involves paint all over your hand. So, let’s get crafting!

In 1959, 12 countries signed the Antarctic Treaty, which preserved the continent of Antarctica for peaceful purposes only. Since 1959, the number of countries that have signed the treaty has grown to 50. With so many countries a part of this beautiful continent, the cuisine that can be found there is quite diverse. This diversity inspired the menu for Expedition Café, our new, marketplace style restaurant in Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin. Here is a sneak peek at some of the delicious food that you will find on your expedition:
