SeaWorld Orlando's Animal Rescue Team Rescues five Animals in 74 Hours

Kids may be back in school and families are settling into a routine, but this week was far from routine for our Animal Rescue Team! In fact, they helped five animals in just 74 hours – two sandhill cranes, two sea turtles and a dolphin. On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our Animal Rescue Team is able to leave for a rescue at a moment’s notice.

SEAWORLD RETURNS SANDHILL CRANE BACK TO ITS MATE AFTER FOOT INJURY

After providing six weeks of critical care, SeaWorld released a sandhill crane that suffered a right foot injury due to monofilament line that was found wrapped around the foot.

Adorable Baby Flamingos Hatched at Busch Gardens

They're not pink, but they are all leg. Since June 3, seven baby Caribbean flamingos have hatched at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The most recent was born on Sunday, July 25.

SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Conservation Fund Participates in Bald Eagle Release

The SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Conservation Fund participated in the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey release of an American Bald eagle yesterday. This was the 396th rehabilitated bald eagle the Center has released since its inception in 1979.

SeaWorld Rescues Sandhill Crane Shot in the Neck by Blow Dart Gun - UPDATED

SeaWorld is providing critical care for a sandhill crane suffering from a neck injury caused by a blowgun dart. Aviculturists rescued the bird on March 16 from a neighborhood in Lake Helen, Fla. after receiving a call from a local resident.
