This morning in San Antonio, SeaWorld and Southwest Airlines rolled out the red carpet for a lemur, a wallaby, and Pete a Magellanic penguin (you may remember Pete from his debut at 30,000 feet).

You Can’t Rain on our Parade!

Although it was a soggy Southern California morning, the rain didn’t dampen the spirits of nearly 1,000 walkers, including NBA legend Bill Walton, as they sloshed and splashed their way through SeaWorld San Diego in support of the second annual “Walk for Wishes.”

SeaWorld Orlando has always worked hand-in-hand with local organizations to brighten the lives of families facing difficult situations and this year is no exception. We have been out and about in the community spreading holiday cheer.

Our quest for a mobile app started over a year ago at SeaWorld San Antonio. We knew this was something our guests were looking for and none of our parks had an official app. SeaWorld San Antonio volunteered to be the first park to create the app and pave the way for our sister parks. We began the process by meeting with several developers and quickly realized the options of how to build and operate the app were endless. After doing our homework, we hired a company called

SeaWorld San Diego’s annual “Shamu & You Family Fun Walk” was once again a huge success.

More than 3,500 people participated in this year’s walk raising more than $200,000 dollars for important programs at San Diego’s Rady Children’s Hospital.

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular events are family-friendly experiences held at our Orlando and San Diego parks.
