CUTE ALERT: SeaWorld Orlando Welcomes First Harbor Seal Pup of 2015

On Monday, we welcomed the first Harbor Seal Pup of 2015 to our Pacific Point Preserve family. The pup was born to 41-year-old Harbor Seal Dagwood who is one of our animal ambassadors. Both mom and pup are doing well and are being cared for by our Animal Care team.

Sailor Surprises Family During One Ocean Show

For decades, SeaWorld has proudly welcomed and honored the men and women of our Armed Forces and their families. Over the past 13 years, SeaWorld’s Waves of Honor program has provided free admission to more than two million uniformed military members and their immediate family. Each day during the pre-show of the One Ocean Shamu show, the military is asked to stand and be recognized by all in the 5,500-seat Stadium.

Kalia's Calf is Born!

It is with great pride that we announce the birth of a baby killer whale. Kalia, the daughter of Kasatka, gave birth at 12:34 p.m. today to a healthy-looking calf at Shamu Stadium, under the watchful eyes of our veterinarians and zoological team members. After a 17-month gestation, Kalia’s calf, estimated to weigh between 300 and 350 pounds and measure between 6 and 7 feet, was born in Shamu Stadium’s main show pool following two hours and 15 minutes of labor.

Dreamflight Visits SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery Cove

Christmas came early this year for 200 deserving children, thanks to Dreamflight, a UK charity dedicated to changing young lives. Established in 1987 and operating annually since, Dreamflight grants children with a serious illness or disability the vacation of a lifetime to Orlando.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Otter Outlook!

We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day here at SeaWorld San Diego with festive abalone cakes for our California sea otters at Otter Outlook! Park guests watched as 3-year-old Clover and 1-year-old Sina enjoyed these tasty Irish treats – they couldn’t keep their paws off of them!

Manatees Vesuvia and Dorothy-Gail are Returned to Florida Waters after Months of Rehabilitation

This week, our Animal Rescue Team here at SeaWorld Orlando returned two female manatees, Vesuvia and Dorothy-Gail, into Florida's East Coast waters after receiving treatment and care at our facilities for several months. Check out some awesome video from their returns below!

Celebrating Mothers from Land and Sea at SeaWorld San Diego

This year for Mother’s Day, SeaWorld San Diego guests can watch several of our animal moms caring for their young here at the park. One animal in particular is Cascade, a bottlenose dolphin, who is currently caring for her sixth calf that was born in early November.
