It’s Audition time! We are holding auditions for several in-park performer positions soon. If you have what it takes, come on out and show us your stuff!

Here’s the deal, we will be casting for comedic male actors, who will play the part as Biff, in our sea lion and otter show and casting electric guitarists, who will perform in our Shamu Rocks show. We are also casting for Sesame Street costume characters. You know you’ve always wanted to be Elmo, right?

You know Santa Claus is already in town here at SeaWorld San Diego, right? Really, he is here for our “Christmas Celebration.” Why you ask? Well, there’s no other place on earth where you can enjoy holiday merriment loaded with family-fun ventures that brings chills, thrills and Shamu’s Christmas adventures, too!

Shamu got the opportunity last week to present a $10,000 donation to the Helen Woodward Animal Center! Wow! While this check presentation was full of fun and smiles, it is also a reminder of how much work still needs to be done in our community to help orphaned animals in need. I am so proud to be a part of a company that cares for the welfare of all animals, not just those in the ocean. It sends a great message and reminder that we all can do something today to make a difference for an orphaned animal tomorrow.
