Award-winning country artist Lauren Alaina recently visited SeaWorld Orlando’s newest and iciest attraction, Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, where she got up close to penguins in the state-of-the-art habitat and experienced the family adventure ride.

Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, a unique, all-family adventure ride that combines 30-degree temperatures and nearly 250 penguins, is now open at SeaWorld Orlando!

In 1959, 12 countries signed the Antarctic Treaty, which preserved the continent of Antarctica for peaceful purposes only. Since 1959, the number of countries that have signed the treaty has grown to 50. With so many countries a part of this beautiful continent, the cuisine that can be found there is quite diverse. This diversity inspired the menu for Expedition Café, our new, marketplace style restaurant in Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin.
