SeaWorld Orlando's Animal Rescue Team, along with several agencies, responded to 22 short-finned pilot whales that stranded at Florida’s Avalon State Park Beach in St. Lucie County this past weekend.

After more than 30 years we are saying "aloha' to the Makahiki Luau on September 30. In celebration, we will be sharing recipes from the luau throughout the month of September. So grab your lei, turn on some Don Ho and enjoy some delectable island fare.

This year for Mother’s Day, SeaWorld San Diego guests can watch several of our animal moms caring for their young here at the park. One animal in particular is Cascade, a bottlenose dolphin, who is currently caring for her sixth calf that was born in early November.
At SeaWorld San Diego, our keepers, trainers, aquarists and veterinarians care for more than 5,000 marine animals. As part of SeaWorld’s commitment to the animals’ well being, they are monitored on a daily basis. They are also occasionally brought to our behind-the-scenes animal care facility for a more extensive checkup of their health. This occurs with sea lions, dolphins, penguins and sea otters, just to name a few. But did you know it can also include 6-foot spotted eagle rays (Aetobatus narinari)?
After 16 weeks, nine cities and thousands of miles, our Epic Voyage has come to an end.
