Treat Yourself Today: Cheesecakes

If there is something you should know about me as a fellow Foodie, it’s that I’ve always loved (and probably will always love) breads, eggs and cheeses. This list is always expanding (luckily and amazingly, my belt size hasn’t . . . yet), but those are my main go-tos.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise then that for this month’s “Treat Yourself”, I’m featuring our cheesecakes in the park!

Celebrating Mothers from Land and Sea at SeaWorld San Diego

This year for Mother’s Day, SeaWorld San Diego guests can watch several of our animal moms caring for their young here at the park. One animal in particular is Cascade, a bottlenose dolphin, who is currently caring for her sixth calf that was born in early November.

An Eagle Ray Checkup at SeaWorld San Diego

At SeaWorld San Diego, our keepers, trainers, aquarists and veterinarians care for more than 5,000 marine animals. As part of SeaWorld’s commitment to the animals’ well being, they are monitored on a daily basis. They are also occasionally brought to our behind-the-scenes animal care facility for a more extensive checkup of their health. This occurs with sea lions, dolphins, penguins and sea otters, just to name a few. But did you know it can also include 6-foot spotted eagle rays (Aetobatus narinari)?
