Marina Inserra, Education and Conservation Instructor

My time at SeaWorld began as a young kid living in San Diego who came to see Shamu on hot summer days with my family. Nearly 20 later, I am so proud to work for this incredible company that has given me the opportunity to perform for and educate thousands of guests each day. I had the privilege of sharing many different talents performing as various sea creatures during Halloween, singing in Shamu’s Christmas, and now sharing my knowledge of animals as an Instructor in the Education & Conservation department. Most recently, you can find me in the park as the host of our newest Shamu show, Killer Whales: Up Close.

I am a graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelor of arts in theater performance. I enjoy riding horses, SCUBA diving, and spending time outdoors with my family here in San Diego. In 2014, I won the title of Miss California and had the opportunity to represent our beautiful state at the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City on national television.  Working for SeaWorld has been such a privilege as it has given me the opportunity to educate and inspire others every day.
