I started at SeaWorld in the spring of 2008 in the Education & Conservation Department. I thought it was going to be a job that got me through college, however, it became so much more than that! While in the Education & Conservation Department, I was able to interact with many different guests. People from all over the world came to see these magnificent marine animals. My job was to build the connection between guests and the natural world. Every day was different: One day I could be narrating at our exhibits, the next I could be giving tours or even singing camp songs with campers during a Sleepover! Regardless of my role for the day, each day was amazing as I was able to teach people amazing animal information. But more importantly, I was able to build a lasting impact by teaching our guests ways we can conserve the environment for future generations!

Now, I am a marketing coordinator for the public relations department. I am still having a blast coming to work each day. While I may not be teaching guests directly out in the park, I still am able to create a connection between the natural world and our Fans by telling the stories of the animals in our park, from highlighting facts about otters to sharing amazing rescue stories. I love connecting people with up-close animal encounters and I believe firsthand experience with marine life is the best way possible to create a lasting appreciation and respect. I am proud to be a part of the SeaWorld family, sharing our stories and making a difference for the natural world!
