It’s summer time at SeaWorld San Diego! Our Sleepover campers and counselors are heating things up with a little pre-show entertainment at “Shamu Rocks.” Any time we have a Sleepover during the summer, you will always find our counselors entertaining our Sleepover guests with a little something we call “The Counselor Dance.”

Crow, in town on her concert tour, met Steime at the park's Dolphin Point attraction.

SeaWorld Orlando’s Kraken was selected as the winner of last night's "Insane Coaster Wars" show on the Travel Channel. This is the first roller coaster in Florida to take the top spot in this series.

SeaWorld San Diego celebrated National Zoo Keeper Week with an interactive display at the park’s new Rescue Plaza near Shamu Stadium. Park guests had the chance to chat with keepers from the bird and mammal departments, dress up like a zoo keeper, and learn about what SeaWorld does to care for animals, both in the park’s collection and as part of the rescue program.

SeaWorld San Diego has an Influx of Sickened and Injured Brown Pelicans

So far this year SeaWorld San Diego has cared for 100 hundred brown pelicans and more than 50 in the past two weeks. Wildlife rehabilitation centers from all along the coast of California have seen a higher than usual number of sick, malnourished and injured pelicans for this time of year. A higher than usual number of starving, young brown pelicans are being reported by concerned beachgoers and inundating wildlife rehabilitation centers along the California coast.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar Makes New Friends at SeaWorld

Sarah Michelle Gellar, and her 2-year-old daughter Charlotte, made a new friend in Nanuq the beluga whale at SeaWorld San Diego today (July 13). The award-winning actress and her daughter also met penguins, sea lion pups, sharks, a rescued pelican and a bottlenose dolphin named Ripley during their visit.
